This is a checklist for all alumni to make sure we are maximizing our advocacy efforts. If you have any questions, please reach out at mansfieldmusicalumni@gmail.com.

Share the petition with anyone and everyone! Don’t assume people have seen it. Share to all social media channels you use once per week. Email and/or text it to anyone you think would possibly sign (this includes non-alumni as well!)
Follow all CU-Mansfield Music Department social media channels, comment on their posts, and share performance clips with an endorsement of how this program must be protected!
Email Campaign (Starts Oct 5, 2026) - Join our campaign to CU Administrators, PASSHE leadership, and state legislators. Contact information, instructions and samples can be found below.
Follow-up Calls (Oct 12-16, 2026) - Make calls to CU Administrators, PASSHE leadership, and state legislators. Contact information, instructions and samples can be found below.
Email news coverage concerning retrenchments and alumni response to mansfieldmusicalumni@gmail.com for distribution.

We would like to periodically provide little “pick me ups” in the form of snacks and small surprises for current students and faculty of Mansfield’s Music Department as they navigate these uncertain times.
If you would like to contribute, you can either have an order shipped to Julie Schlosser or send her funds via Venmo and she will make the purchase and make sure it's delivered to Butler.
